“With Serena’s guidance, we put a plan into action. It has changed my life. I begin to follow a routine of arising earlier than usual to meditate and walk. I changed settings on my phone, limiting contact. I limit scheduled appointments. I practice gratitude daily in journaling. I also am writing poetry again. I resumed my yoga practice, 2-3 times a week. Serena suggested a group meditation practice and I have found a connection with a small group in my community. I am also back playing some golf. Most of all, I have gained confidence and understand how my scheduled routine impacts fatigue. I have more energy, more clarity, less fear and rumination and worry. I feel stronger, less distracted and my mind feels more open and free to be comfortable just enjoying everyday.”
“I started coaching sessions with Serena after seeing a video of a lecture that she gave to healthcare professionals that my daughter sent me. I am a recently retired oncology nurse. Serena’s knowledge and experience made an impression on me. I also have had significant health issues over the last few years. I have a history of open heart surgery for a valve replacement and I suffered a small stroke this past June 2024. Following the stroke, mental fatigue was my biggest problem to recover from. With Serena’s guidance, we put a plan into action. It has changed my life. I begin to follow a routine of arising earlier than usual to meditate and walk. I have made it a priority, twice a day. I have developed some meaningful relationships with people that are on similar journeys as myself. I am also back playing some golf. Most of all, I have gained confidence and understand how my scheduled routine impacts fatigue. I have more energy, more clarity, less fear and rumination and worry. I feel stronger, less distracted and my mind feels more open and free to be comfortable just enjoying everyday. My relationships with my husband and my children and grandchildren come with less judgement and more freedom to be myself and acceptance of them and their love and care. Serena helped me in a meditation practice of love and kindness towards others, which may have impacted these relationships quite a bit. I believe that meditation has also eased the emotional burden of taking care of critically ill patients in my nursing practice over the years.
I am more than grateful for Serena’s guidance. Her approach is compassionate and professional. She helped me to maintain focus on action. After setting some goals and actions, we witnessed the changes and challenges I faced, together. When I miss practice, the fatigue and depression from the stroke creeps back in. This is certainly a measure of success. We accomplished a great deal and my health and well being has had an impact that I am only grateful for.
I found Serena at the right time in my life. Her care and expertise benefited me and can certainly benefit others.”

“As a result of partnering with Serena, I have a 10-15 min daily mindfulness practice which elevates my wellbeing every day. I bring presence and self-awareness into all areas of my life. The cultivation of presence and wellbeing trickles into my professional and family life and positively impacts those around me.”
“Serena is incredible. I partnered with her for 6-months of one-on-one mindfulness and well-being coaching. My goal was to create a daily meditation habit and bring more calm, peace, and trust to my life. I was able to create the daily habit very soon after starting with her and have learned so much from her! She helped me with connecting to my future self, emotional well-being, my relationships, self-compassion, and elevating my daily contentment and joy. I now know so much about formal and informal meditation and am beyond thankful for her. Her work allowed me to connect to my true self and I feel so grounded and beyond thankful. As a result of partnering with Serena, I have a 10-15 min daily mindfulness practice which elevates my wellbeing every day. I bring presence and self-awareness into all areas of my life. The cultivation of presence and wellbeing trickles into my professional and family life and positively impacts those around me. I highly recommend Serena, HIRE HER!!! You will not regret the investment.”

“I want you to know how much meditation has changed my life. I have lost some sixty-five pounds and also since I suffer from schizoaffective disorder and generalized anxiety disorder it has calmed me down considerably and made me a much happier person. Even my psychotropic drugs have been cut but not eliminated because of it.”
Hello Serena,
I started this morning with your meditations and homework that you suggested.
I want you to know how much meditation has changed my life. I have lost some sixty-five pounds and also since I suffer from schizoaffective disorder and generalized anxiety disorder it has calmed me down considerably and made me a much happier person. Even my psychotropic drugs have been cut but not eliminated because of it.
I have been to the Outpatient Mental Health Program Lutheran General Hospital three times and we covered Kristin Neff’s work. I also have watched several of her U–Tube programs.
I cannot believe how blessed and fortunate I am to take your program from the CWC!
Thanks for including me and offering your expertise.

“In coaching with Serena, I felt seen and supported more than in any other coaching I’ve experienced. She created a container of such safety, encouragement & empowerment, I was able to explore, take action, create and experience myself living my 2.0 life – with opportunities on the horizon..”
“I sought out coaching with Serena because I was in a period of redefining myself per my wants and needs after raising two daughters and a career I felt complete with. I knew I had an opportunity to create myself for the next phase of my life and did not want to default to old roles or patterns. I am a personal growth “junkie” very familiar with counseling and coaching, but have typically felt my goals got lost in their process.
What was unique with Serena is that while she used a coaching framework, she always kept the focus on me – what I thought, wanted, needed – to reach my own goals. Beginning sessions with intentional mindful meditations and “what is going well” exercise was also very powerful. I was able to gain much clarity about myself not as a caregiver but in new ways that are fundamental to my health and wellbeing.
In coaching with Serena, I felt seen and supported more than in any other coaching I’ve experienced. She created a container of such safety, encouragement & empowerment, I was able to explore, take action, create and experience myself living my 2.0 life – with opportunities on the horizon.
With Serena’s help, I received exactly what I was looking for and more! Typically, I always have vision, but realizing my goals has often been illusive. With Serena, I was able to get to a place that I could believe in, from within me and by me and so, very authentically me. I was able to make shifts that feel real, doable and sustainable. I recommend health and wellbeing coaching with Serena Jain wholeheartedly and joyfully!”

“She introduced me to the world of mindfulness, and it changed my life. Not only did she provide me with the best resources, but she also catered the resources to what I needed at the moment. Because of this, I am the version of myself that I have always wanted to be. I’ve fallen in love with life and myself again, and I think coaching with Serena was the catalyst for this change. ”
Working with Serena has been one of the best decisions of my life. The pandemic had taken over some of the most crucial years of my college experience and because of it, I was in probably the most challenging period of my life. When I first met Serena, I was anxious all the time and stressed, I was unhappy. It was difficult to want to socialize, put myself out there, and be confident. It felt like I was just going through the motions of my life and not really living – instead I was absent. I didn’t really care to do the things that used to me make me feel happy before. With Serena’s guidance, coaching, compassion, and help I finally found myself again. Along with her being someone to keep me accountable for my week-to-week goals, Serena was always there to listen to me and give me advice. In addition, she introduced me to the world of mindfulness, and it changed my life. Not only did she provide me with the best resources, but she also catered the resources to what I needed at the moment. Because of this, I am the version of myself that I have always wanted to be. I’ve fallen in love with life and myself again, and I think coaching with Serena was the catalyst for this change. In the six months that we’ve been working together, I can confidently say that she is genuinely invested in my well-being, and I could have never asked for a better coach.

“Thank you Serena for ending our symposium on such a positive note. As we had discussed, our program attendees are all healthcare professionals that work with older adults. These past few years have been incredibly stressful. We wanted to provide them with some ideas and simple ways that they could help themselves and your presentation struck a perfect note.”

These past few years have been incredibly stressful. We wanted to provide them with some ideas and simple ways that they could help themselves and your presentation struck a perfect note.
Your guided mindfulness exercises and simple ideas on how to incorporate this practice into our lives was so helpful. Your engaging presentation provided so many ideas for our attendees. With a very mixed group of mindfulness “newbies” and experienced participants, you were able to provide meaningful information and ideas for everyone. As a mindfulness “newbie” myself, I particularly appreciated your thoughts on how mindfulness can be as simple as staying in the moment while engaging in your everyday tasks….. I’m focusing on brushing my teeth without reviewing my mental checklist.”

“Taking the MBSR course has helped me to be more “in the present” and aware of the good that is around me.”
“During the pandemic it seems that all my days have just been blending together. I have felt anxious, depressed, and like many others, I have missed socializing and meeting new people. Taking the MBSR course has helped me to be more “in the present” and aware of the good that is around me. Instead of just reacting and feeling anxious, I now have new tools to be at peace. I have learned to focus on the present instead of having my mind cluttered with the unknowns. I have also learned to be more patient and accepting of myself, with a more positive voice within me. The added bonus of taking this class is the group of new friends I have met and grown with during the 8-week course. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a chance to slow down, and for anyone that is feeling anxious, overwhelmed or lonely.”

“It enabled me to learn coping strategies for more emotions and feelings and eventually process them constructively.”
“MBSR is an invaluable program to help you get centered. It enabled me to learn coping strategies for more emotions and feelings and eventually process them constructively. Our support group was wonderful, and all the discussions, exercises and meditations were very nurturing as we learnt better self-care and communication. Serena is simply an awesome teacher.”

“I just love it! My awareness is so much greater.”
“Lot of things from MBSR have stuck with me; most notably a deeper commitment to pranayama practice, not necessarily unto itself, but anywhere, anytime. I just love it! My awareness is so much greater.”

“Serena is an experienced, encouraging, empowered, and compassionate guide.”
“Serena is an experienced, encouraging, empowered, and compassionate guide and my fellow classmates taught me so much. The Zoom experience was not at all an issue, It worked really well. While I am in auto-pilot most of the time, I now slip into mindfulness more and more! I know it will increasingly seep into my way of living, into my DNA. I am aiming for living the most mindfully aware life I can. Moment to moment.”

“The MBSR course taught me methods to help me know myself and understand better the people around me.”
“I would like to describe a real-life situation in which the MBSR course taught by Serena helped me. Together with some friends we planned to meet to celebrate Thanksgiving. It had been a long time since we’ve seen each other and I was very enthusiastic and full of energy. The morning when I was preparing to meet with them I started thinking that I am not good enough to be in the company of my friends. My enthusiasm started to dwindle. I felt very agitated. I wanted all these feelings to go away so that I can feel happy again about meeting with them, but the reality was very different and I didn’t want to accept it. I remembered that what I have learned in the MBSR course may help in this situation. The first thing that I did was to stand still for a few minutes, take a few breaths that I could really feel, and let my thoughts be as they were without trying to change them and without wishing them to be as the day before. This gave me the courage to say to myself that it is okay, I could go. The feelings that I had in the morning dissipated and they turned into something very pleasant without me trying to force this change. Mindfulness allowed me to participate in an event that I really wanted to be part of, it helped me to really listen to my friends and to observe the transformation of my thoughts from morning to evening.
The MBSR course taught me methods to help me know myself and understand better the people around me. I know that I didn’t have to have any expectations about positive changes after the completion of the course, but many very useful things happened for me and I appreciate it a lot. It was a wonderful experience both in terms of the people I have met during the course and the things I have learned to integrate in my life to improve it.”

“The mindfulness and improvisation workshop improved every employee’s skills to relate to each other.”
“Thank you, Serena, for the mindfulness and improvisation workshop session you have led us in our company’s retreat. It not only improved every employee’s skills to relate to each other; it also brings the awareness for the need of this unique way to connect with coworkers, clients, families, and friends.”

“As my coach, Serena helped me create time to incorporate self-care into my very stressful life. This change carried over to other aspects of my life and I felt healthier, happier, and less stressed.”
“Serena is a fantastic health & well-being coach. When we started I was really unhappy. I worked a stressful job as a healthcare provider and I was commuting several hours a day. I felt like I had no time to work out or care for myself. As my coach, Serena helped me create time to incorporate self-care into my very stressful life. As a result, I was able to increase to regularly working out at least 4 times a week. This change carried over to other aspects of my life and I felt healthier, happier, and less stressed. She also introduced me to the world of mindfulness.
Now nearly four months later I am happy to say that the changes have stayed. I am very appreciative of her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for self improvement.”
